Exclusive showing kicks off new Gallery Pop-up in Downtown Long Beach
Long Beach, CA – September 25, 2025– Blu’ Art and Wellness Gallery by DreamKreator proudly announces a new exhibition featuring acclaimed visual artist Mohammed Mubarak, whose body of work captures the richness of African American entertainment. The exhibition October 1, 2025 and will run through October 17, 2025 offering visitors an opportunity to experience Mubarak’s powerful storytelling through art.
Mubarak, widely recognized for his bold, vibrant depictions of music and entertainment figures, historic icons as well as a unique perspective of history and culture, has exhibited nationally and is celebrated for blending artistry with sports commentary. His paintings often highlight boxing’s iconic figures, community narratives, and music luminaries that shaped collective memory.
“Art should awaken and inspire,” Mubarak explains. “It connects us to our roots and gives voice to our journey. This exhibit is a reflection of both personal and shared histories.”
The Blu’ Art and Wellness Gallery is a vison of the late Rhonda Love who, alongside her partner Greg Johnson, have developed a body of work that enlivens the arts in the Downtown Long Beach area. Known for their unique fusion of creative expression and holistic well-being, this new pop-up space is designed to complement exhibits with interactive programming, including an artist talk, community dialogue, and wellness-centered engagement.
